found. Portions of these notes were also used in Sanger's "The
Necessity of Birth Control,"" Dec. 19, 1928.
Sanger used these notes for a speech at the University of Chicago Liberal
Club; she also likely used for a speech at Columbia University on December 3, 1925.
Originally scheduled to be delivered at the close of the First American Birth
Control Conference on Nov. 13, 1921, this address was made on Nov. 18 after the police raided the Town Hall
